A tint of light kissing the peak of a vogue character who positioned him in the centre on a dais and started playing a guitar. And every bit of mechanical waves brooking from the instrument made the characters dance to their fullest. After the opening the scene the play started, showing the conversation between two persons gossiping about Satrajit who got Syamantak Mani (celestial jewel). The chitchat had a rustic flavour and both the actors were successful in bringing out the flavour of rural ambience through their acting. The two persons were dairyman by profession and they crowded up with other dairymen of village and went to inform Krishna about the Syamantak Mani.
Krishna went on to inform his elder brother about the Samantak Mani and expressed his eager of going to Satrajit’s house and see the Mani. A marvellous scene was crafted in which Krishna was on horse kart while going to Satrajit’s house, he saw a beautiful lady Satyabhama (the daughter of Satrajit) and asked the kart driver to stop the kart. And then a delicate conversation turns into a beautiful ambience of romanticism coupled with a soothing song.Satyabhama took Krishna to her house .Krishna expresses his feelings of seeing the Mani and Satrajit thinks that Krishna had an evil plan. Krishna asked Satrajit how did he get the Mani.Satrajit’s answer was not too satisfying for Krishna.
Satrajit’s moni gets stolen and he blames Krishna. Krishna goes to Satrajit and asked him to justify his blame. Satrajit denies it and asked him to find the Mani. Satyabhama informs him that her father had smuggled the Syamantak Mani through her uncle. Krishna set out for finding the mani and found that Prosenjit(brother of Satrajit) was killed by a lion in the jungle.Jodupoti(Krishna) found that the lion who killed Prosenjit was also dead.He could understand that the creature who killed the lion was a human. As Jodupoti did not return from the Jungle for more than week ,people considered that Jodupoti could be dead.
Then suddenly Krishna entered and there was moment of happiness all around. Krishna was asked to describe the entire story. Krishna told that he discovered a small beautiful village where he found the Samantak Mani in the hands of a small child and asked his father to return the Mani to him.As the man refused to give back the mani so Krishna challenged him for a fight and won the fight. Then Satyabhama and Krishna got married. The paly was beautifully crafted and had a mixed flavour of romanticism, greed, anger, valour and thrill.
